Notification Settings

Control what notifications you receive from LUMA.

Manage your notification preferences to stay informed without being overwhelmed.

#Access notification settings

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Toggle notifications on or off
  3. Save changes

#Notification types

#Invoice notifications

  • Invoice paid: When a customer pays an invoice
  • Invoice viewed: When a customer opens an invoice
  • Invoice overdue: When an invoice passes its due date

#Transaction notifications

  • Large transactions: Alerts for transactions above a threshold
  • New transactions: Daily or weekly summaries of new transactions

#Bank notifications

  • Connection issues: When a bank connection needs attention
  • Low balance: When account balance drops below a threshold

#Team notifications

  • New member joined: When an invited member accepts
  • Member activity: Summaries of team activity

#Delivery methods

Choose how to receive notifications:

  • Email: Traditional email notifications
  • In-app: Notifications within LUMA

#Frequency settings

For some notifications, set frequency:

  • Real-time: As events happen
  • Daily digest: Once per day summary
  • Weekly digest: Weekly summary

#Tips

  • Enable invoice paid notifications to know immediately when you get paid
  • Set low balance alerts to avoid overdrafts
  • Use digests for less urgent items to reduce inbox noise
  • Review settings periodically as your needs change
